Rochelle L. Mannigel
Rochelle’s Classes are inspired by simple concepts of self care, compassion and companionship. Each of these components are vital to a powerful yoga practice and real life! She teaches energized vinyasa flow, cardio, restore and warm/hot, sonic yoga classes from her heart and soul with the desire to share her experiences. She encourages students to believe in their own ability and the use of breath to enable them to power through and experience an incredible practice.
Karuna Diedericks
Karuna received certification in 2007 as a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist through the California College of Ayurveda. Throughout the twenty years she has been practicing Ayurveda, bhakti yoga, meditation and yoga asana, she has had a passion for cooking and healthy eating. She has first-hand knowledge and experience of how cooking and eating can support one’s health and overall quality of life. Building community and helping her students reach their dietary goals is what motivates her. Since 2019, Karuna has been a faculty member of the Jung Center’s Mind, Body, Spirit Institute, where she teaches powerful classes that greatly impact her students’ food choices and ways of cooking.
- 3 days (and 2 nights) at Golden Hill Retreat Center in Cold Springs, TX (Goldenhillretreat). Think PINE, Juniper and real grass/trees/flowers & butterflies. The event space is INSIDE the Sam Houston National Park in the Piney Woods of East Texas. Arrive around 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18th, 2024 & depart on Sunday, Oct. 20 around 11 a.m.
- 5 Nourishing, healthy meals & snacks prepared by a certified Ayurveda Chef, Karuna Diedericks (http://www.karunaskitchen.net/)
- Cooking Class on Saturday – prepping our meal for that evening!
- Interactive yoga, meditation, workshops & transformational coaching.
- Free time on Saturday afternoon to explore various hiking trails, engage in Forest Bathing opportunities or just read a book/relax!
- Complimentary access to sauna, biomat, red light therapy (additional healing modalities such as Vibroacoustic Sound Bed, Lucia Light Therapy and Full Body Massage is available for an extra cost).
- Egyptian Ancient Aroma Therapy Experience.
- Airfare / Transportation to and from the Retreat Center. IAH is the closest airport approximately 50 minutes away from the Retreat Center.
- Massages & Other Healing Therapies – option to book a massage directly with the massage therapist. All fees are paid directly to the vendor. (Info to book/pay provided after you register).
- Ayurveda Consultation for Super Discounted One Hour $60 (normally $125) with Karuna Diedricks – paid directly to her.
